Ethereal Booking

Sync Airbnb and Booking.com with your WordPress website

One calendar for every channel. Bookings from Airbnb and Booking.com close the dates on your website, and direct bookings close them on the platforms – automatically, with the free Ethereal Booking plugin.

How the sync works

Every platform gives you an iCal link of your listing. Paste it on the property in WordPress and the plugin imports the booked dates every 15–30 minutes and right before every new booking. Then copy the plugin's own link into Airbnb and Booking.com, so the dates booked on your website are closed there too.

No double bookings

Before a guest can confirm, the plugin checks the platforms once more and locks the dates for a moment, so two guests clicking at the same second cannot get the same night. Cancelled bookings free the dates again on the next sync.

No channel manager needed

Channel managers cost a monthly fee per property. iCal sync is free, works with Airbnb, Booking.com, Vrbo and any calendar that exports iCal, and the plugin shows when each platform last read your calendar, so you know the connection works.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How often do Airbnb and Booking.com read my calendar?

Your website imports every 15–30 minutes. Airbnb and Booking.com read your calendar on their own schedule, usually every 1–3 hours; that limit is theirs and the same for every iCal tool.

Do I need a paid plan for the sync?

No. Booking.com and Airbnb sync is part of the free plugin, for any number of properties.

Can I connect other platforms?

Yes. Any platform that gives an iCal link (Vrbo, Expedia, Google Calendar and others) can be added on the property.
